Berta Sapier, nee Schapochnik, 99, beloved wife of the late Saul; loving mother of Raquel (Ernesto) Finkelstein, Robert H. Sapier and Lillian S. (Ralph) Klein; cherished Baba of Steven Finkelstein, Jacqueline (Frank) Sacco, Ryan (Sara) Klein and Jennifer Klein; adored great Baba of Clark, Nicholas and Chase Finkelstein and Devin Sacco; devoted daughter of the late Rose and Luis Schapochnik; caring aunt of Rose Levy, Martha Weni and Ernie Roidfeld; treasured sister, cousin and friend of many. Berta was a proud and devoted member of Temple Judea Mizpah. Her greatest joy was her family. Graveside service Friday 1:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
